Nokia
is back as everyone knows by now. We reported earlier that Nokia was going to
announce 3 new phones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.
The company is going to release the legendary Nokia 3310 feature phone again at
this event.
The
new 3310 is expected to go for $62 and will be available in Europe initially.
Additionally the Nokia 6, 5 and 3 models will also be released alongside with
the 3310.
A
new report suggests that the upcoming Nokia 3310 will have a thinner and
lighter body compared with the original one and will also come with a bigger
multi-colored screen.
If
you remember, the original 3310 model came with
a monochrome display screen that lit up in green. The keys will still be
placed the same way as the original model. But it is rumored that the size
could see some adjustments depending on the new additions to its display
screen.
The
original 3310 featured an 84 x 84 monochromatic screen but it will now be replaced
by a bigger color display. Nokia managed to sell as many as 125 million
units of the 3310 worldwide since its release back in 2000.
Color
options for the new 3310 include red, green, and yellow.
It remains to be seen whether the phone still
retains its durability after the changes
